  How To Repel Jehovah's Witnesses at Your Door

  the doorbell rings, and it is jehovah's witlesses.

  this is not all that unusual, but in this case you have made it clear that you do not want to be called on.

  there is a no trespassing sign prominently displayed on your door, and they know you are absolutely not interested.

  They stopped coming to my door even after I was reinstated. I invited some old guy in and he got mad because I asked him a question. His answer, YOU should know that answer if you were raised a JW. Chronology question! The date of Christ birth to now I had all these history books and did the research! He accused me of lying about my reinstatement, so I told him to not come back then I wrote the congregation a letter and told them that I did not want someone coming to my door accusing me of lying about my reinstatement. I did not attend that meeting I attended another meeting and I was fine in that congregation. Some JDUBS are just strange! and he was one of them.

  X Mark on the Forehead! Does Anyone have a WT?

  looking for a picture that shows jehovah's witnesses going door to door and another picture with a person receiving his x on his forehead?

  i would like to read the article in the wt.

  it has something to do with the man with the writer's inkhorn by his side!

  Thanks Atlantis! You found the pictures plus some extras. Boy they sure do have their nerve to Mark people at the door with an X invisible or not! If one does not get the mark off to judgement to Jesus, but if you recieve a mark then you do not get judged! OH BULL! They think they are the middle man on earth and that is bull! I hate to see them go door to door because this picture is in my head!

  Another thing wrong with this concept, if you died with your mark you survived judgement from Jesus and that is only at the 1 st resurrection. Jehovah Witness only believe that the 144,000 are at the 1st ressurrection, the 2nd resurrection is the people standying before the throne at judgement.

  GOING DOOR TO DOOR IS WRONG AND NOT BIBICAL IF THE ABOVE IS APPLIED!

  hi everybody, my name is julie, and this is my first post.. i'm a third generation jw, or at least i was until a two weeks ago, when i was announced as no longer a jw.

  i'm really happy about that, ecstatic in fact, although i'd been a jw all my life, and i'm 37 now.

  i could have disassociated like my friends, but i couldn't be bothered to play their chikdish game, so i let them do it for me.

  Jehovah protects me and I know! I have tried to live my life with Jehovah in mind! It's not a matter of just reading and studying the bible anymore it is a matter of practicing doing what is right. I choose to do the right thing every day that is in front of me. I make choices to do what is right and if people can not see it too bad. I have a closer relationship with God now that I am out of the cult and my action speaks for it self. For example; I am not going to okay drugs! it's wrong and demonic. Smoking weed because you are sick is an excuse to do drugs. So I am not going to have people around me acting stupid or speaking crazy! I choice what is right with God! samething with fornicators and etc. I do not need a religion to tell me what is right or wrong. I m not going to tolerate what is bad! On the flip side, I am not going to condem people to judgement that is Jesus job and I thank God for Jesus. He has a hard job! :-) MY experiences with the Jehovah Witnesses and raised into a cult group does not make my bitter toward Jehovah my first love, but the organization yes and I will be in shock for the rest of my life!

  fader's wife expresses 1st doubts....

  talking to a friend (ex-elder) today whose wife was (is) a close friend of mine .

  she's still a jdub but won't talk to me now i'm df'd (apparently it hit her very hard when we left) and so she busied herself with ministry and meetings in search of comfort and affirmation of her faith.

  this didn't work for her and she came out with an unexpected question... .

  What else is out there? YOU can never do enough research on what you thought you knew about the bible. The Jehovah's Witnesses twisted our concepts about everything! First one is shocked! now what? Now there is a true relationship between you,Jehovah,and Jesus with NO MIDDLE MAN! Example of research; 1914, wrong! Daniels wrong can not write themselves into Daniel's prophecy, Michael the archangel wrong because Jesus was made higher than the angels, the 144,000 as the only ones to partake wrong, why? because there is no NT scripture gospel that says on a few can partake.

  The right is developing you own relationship with Jehovah and not a man made religion.

  some wonder why the fds is singular in mt 24:45-47 but then is described as a "class" of more than one by the wtbts.

  our new do said this weekend at the circuit assembly that this has been done before by jehovah at isa 43:10: "you are my witnesses(plural),....my servant(singular).

  he implied that the "slave"(singular) could be a group of people using this precedent.

  Yes, the Bible Student say that servant in Mathew is Russell. So the JW changed it to a class group.

  Do not put your trust in men [ except of course the governing body]

  how often did we hear in the meetings, conventions,etc, the saying - do not put your trust in men but put your trust in god.anyone putting their trust in men are foolish but anyone putting their trust in god is wise.not once did anyone point out of course that in the watchtower its impossible to put your trust in god because in order to put your trust in god you have to first put your trust in the infallible, unquestionable governing body.i think that when we were told trust in jehovah, what they really meant was trust in the watchtower org and those untouchable 12 men at the top who interprets everthing.. of course if anyone had ever pointed that out we would have got that very spooky air of silence and then totally ignored like we wasnt there.

  I think we need not to put our faith in men! The people in the NT had holy spirit and was guided by Jesus Christ. The NT is proof of how to live our lives but as far as having that type of holy spirit well I would not put my faith in any man made church. One can ask what you think about this scripture but that does not mean they have the right answer. It is better not to fall in that trap again! I do think people can socialize in the churches and that is okay.

  i know the end of mankind was supposed to happen in 1914 with the end of the gentile times.

  true christians were supposed to all fly to heaven.

  now i forget when fds figured out he came in 1914 instead of 1874. and when did we figure out btg was felled?

  Rutherford thought that Russell was the faithful servant and he taught that there was a 144,000 class! Go figure, he was a good friend of Russell and respected him just read his books.
